Pictures are among the most important possessions you will have in your life. They are a moment in time captured on paper. The moment will never be repeated and will only live on every time you look at the photograph and recall them memories. For this very reason, you want to make sure that if you are printing your photos at home on your personal printer that you get the highest quality and durability for your money. HP inkjet printer cartridges and printers come in a wide variety of photo printing options to help you get the most out of your photos for as long as possible. Consumer reports have ranked a number of HP photo printers among the top of their category. It is also among the more expensive ones at about $250, which some would consider a little steep for a printer that produces only 4×6 photographs and nothing else. However, if this is something you do frequently and will get a lot of use out of, the HP Photosmart A826 is the favorite. The ink cartridges for this model are fairly reasonable, unlike many other printers. A standard size cartridge retails for around $20 or you can buy a high capacity ink cartridge for $35 which will print about 120 4×6 snapshots. This is all as you would buy it directly from HP. There are other options however. As with almost any printer on the market today, you can find substitutes for HP inkjet printer cartridges. It would benefit you to do a little research first and make sure you can trust the retailer you’re purchasing from. In the digital age a bad print doesn’t really mean you’ve lost that picture forever; it’s usually saved onto your hard drive or memory card. Still, no one wants to deal with the hassle of a bad inkjet printer cartridge just to save a few dollars on it. Because the HP A826 is one of the newer photo printers on the market, it may be difficult to find replacement brands beside the actual name brand manufacturer, but if you wait a little while you should come across them eventually. Printing your photos at home can get pretty expensive, which is why you would want to make sure you do it often in order to maximize your uses and minimize your costs. Before purchasing an HP printer, decide if you can afford the name brand HP inkjet printer cartridges or not. This is especially important if you are going to purchase a top-of-the-line inkjet that costs quite a bit of money. An expensive photo printer can quickly be reduced to junk the moment a discount printer cartridge explodes inside it. |
